In this post you will assist in the delivery of a Development Plan making service to offer a seamless spatial planning service. This incorporates expertise from a range of professional disciplines and complies with statutory and corporate requirements and policy. The delivery of the Development Plan includes project identification and implementation.
Educated to degree or equivalent level you must have membership of appropriate professional body e.g. RTPI or equivalent experience and evidence of continuous professional development
Working knowledge of preparing spatial planning documents and taking these through the plan adoption process is essential for this post. Knowledge and experience of partnership working, stakeholder management including public consultation and engagement techniques are also highly desirable. An Urban design or regeneration qualification; development viability, financial appraisal and project management skills are also highly desirable for this role.
