Inclusive Salary: Up to £40K per year (inc. of market supplement and car allowance)
Plus up to 18.5% employer pension contribution

As one of the busiest Planning Authorities in the country, and with a new draft Strategic Plan identifying major development in the Green Belt and a recently announced Enterprise Zone, it’s an exciting time to join us!

As our planning team continues to flourish, we are keen to strengthen our team with the addition of experienced Chartered Planners. You will join our team and contribute to the delivery of professional advice, expertise and evaluation on all aspects of the development management work to customers to meet statutory and service requirements.

You will lead on the consideration and negotiation of complex planning applications to facilitate the implementation of the Local Plan, and provide professional expertise at Committees, Planning Appeals and Enforcement cases as needed.

With considerable experience in the field and Chartered membership of the RTPI, you will work on a range of planning cases involving Conservation Areas, Listed Building and large developments. Excellent negotiation skills and a flexible approach to work are essential to this post.
