We are looking to appoint a Senior Planning Projects Officer to play an important role in the implementation team in the delivery of a number of high profile projects. This includes the masterplanning of strategic sites being brought forward through a new Local Plan, the delivery of infrastructure including a strategic Green Corridor, preparation of funding bids, and the finalisation of a CIL charging schedule, as well as the regeneration of town and neighbourhood centres.
You will have a relevant degree and have had previous experience of working on major development projects. You will be a creative thinker, and have good communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Ideally you will have had some previous experience of one or more of the following areas; regeneration, masterplanning and CIL.
The council have developed a ‘One Team’ approach to working and this relies on each and every person working collaboratively to deliver shared goals. To be a positive influence on this environment, you’ll need to be able to support others and be a genuine team player.
