We are currently recruiting for a Planning Monitoring and Enforcement Assistant to our Development Control Team. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and to gain some wide ranging experience in a small Local Authority. You will provide planning enforcement support to the Development Control Team with particular emphasis on investigations into breaches of planning control and the monitoring of development sites. The  job description and person specification outline the type of person we are  looking for.

5 GCSE passes, including higher grades (C or above) in English and Mathematics are required.

We are looking for a positive and flexible and motivated person who has experience in a Local Government or other public organisation, someone who can communicate in a clear and concise manner, who has experience of interpreting complex information such as legal agreements and planning legislation. Somebody who is organised and can work on their own initiative as well as in a team environment. They will have the ability to manage their time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
