We are seeking to develop a Strategic Growth Team in order to deliver the development identified within the emerging Local Plan and beyond. Harborough District’s local plan will deliver sustainable development areas including housing and employment growth together with safeguarding the high quality environment. The Strategic Growth Officer role will be integral to the delivery of the Local Plan. In order to do this, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Planning Officer who has experience in dealing with more complex and large scale applications as part of the Strategic Growth team. You will need to be a team player with a ‘can – do’ approach; committed to meeting challenging targets and maintaining the quality of the environment across the District. In return, we will offer you plentiful and varied experience, dealing with some challenging, large scale and strategic planning applications and provide a critical role in the delivery of future growth.
