Starting salary: £24,657 - £25,463 per annum depending on qualifications/experience (potentially rising to £29,909 through annual Performance Review awards)

We are looking for hardworking and confident individual ideally with a planning/planning enforcement background, however, we would welcome applications from those with regulatory/relevant experience and the desire to become a Planning Enforcement Officer.
You will be expected to deal with a range of planning related complaints and breaches of planning control, as well as assisting the Planning Enforcement team with more complex cases involving appeals, proceedings and direct action.
As with all our posts, drive, determination, hardworking and a forward thinking attitude is important. Site visits are required in a large rural area and so the suitable candidates will need to hold a current driving licence and/or the ability to travel around West Suffolk.
The office base for these posts will be Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall, with flexibility expected as work requirements dictate.
