We are looking for an experienced Planning Policy Team Leader with excellent research, communication and influencing skills, to lead the Planning Policy Team.
Based in the newly refurbished Town Hall offices in historic Reigate, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council has recently been recognised as a leading council. We have ambitious plans for the borough, as well as a strong focus on staff growth and development.
You will be joining us at an exciting time, as the Council submits its Development Management Plan for examination, undertakes the first review of its core strategy and delivers its Community Infrastructure Levy spending priorities.
You will lead the Planning Policy team and work closely with senior management and elected members to develop strategic and local planning policies, as well as new and updated supplementary planning documents.
