Two more Neighbourhood Plan examinations, both for North Dorset District Council, were completed in November 2018.
- The examination of the Hazelbury Bryan Neighbourhood Plan was completed by Examiner David Kaiserman
- Examiner Terry Kemmann-Lane completed the examination of the Sturminster Newton Neighbourhood Plan.
In both cases the Examiner concluded that, subject to a number of modifications, the Plan meets the "basic conditions" and other legal tests required. They therefore recommended that the two Plans should proceed to a Referendum once modified.
A referendum on the Hazelbury Bryan Neighbourhood Plan is scheduled for 7 February 2019 and the Council's Cabinet will meet later this month to consider the Examiner's recommendations regarding the Sturminster Newton Neighbourhood Plan.
