Just a reminder that details were published recently for this year's Forum on Enforcement taking place on 12 October in Manchester. Bookings are going well for this popular event, but there are places still available so make sure you book yours soon!
The Forum is firmly established as the update for people involved or interested in planning enforcement. The event provides excellent CPD and an opportunity to learn from our highly experienced panel of speakers, as well as the chance to exchange useful experience with colleagues from other authorities and organisations.
Topics being discussed this year are:
- a Legal Update
- experience of using new powers such as Community Protection Notices
- deliberate concealment of potential breaches of planning control
- how Counties and Districts can work together to achieve compliance on mixed use sites
- the benefits of a "Systems Thinking" approach.
Further details for this event and a leaflet in pdf format are available to view or download on the TRA website. Bookings can be made via the new online bookings page on the website. If you are unable to make a firm booking straight away, you can use the same page to provisionally reserve places online or alternatively telephone us on 01204 385678.
