The 2018-19 Workshop Programme for planning and development practitioners in Scotland has now been finalised and is available to view on the TRA website. Leaflets giving detailed information for all the workshops are available to view or download in a pdf format and a programme summary can also be downloaded for easy display/circulation within your department.
Hard copies of our brochure giving details of the programme as a whole will be circulated to our usual contacts in due course. If you would like to receive details of the programme and are not on our mailing list, you can sign up here. (Please note that most of our publicity is circulated by email).
For 2018-19 we are introducing three new workshops to the programme for Scotland, all of which have previously run in England (either inter-authority or in-house) and received very positive feedback, some of which can be viewed on the website:
- Viability: what planners need to know
- Design in Planning Applications: how to add value
- Presentation Skills for Planners
Bookings are now invited and can be made via the online booking page on the TRA website. You can either make a firm booking straight away, or make a provisional booking to reserve place(s) until you are ready to confirm. Provisional bookings can be made online or by telephone on 01204 385678.
As always, our popular Discounted Block Booking Scheme offers discounts of between 10 and 15% for bookings of 2 or more places made at the same time, over any number of events in the programme. Many authorities have taken advantage of the scheme in the past to sort out their training needs all in one go and also stretch those limited training budgets that little bit further. Further details of the Block Booking Scheme are on the website.
We hope you find something interesting in this year's programme and look forward to seeing you or your colleagues at some of our forthcoming workshops!
