Validating Planning Applications and Related Issues
In-House Training

The focus of this Workshop is only on the "front end" processes (generically called validation) and relates solely to validating planning applications.  This means that quite a bit of time can be spent on key issues such as checking fees and operating the LPA's local list.

Please note that if the host LPA chooses to invite staff from neighbouring authorities to join in on training, the "visiting" staff will need to be made aware that the focus will be on the host LPA ways of validating.

It gave an overall insight of why/what is required to validate applications. The presenter was extremely thorough and explained things very well. She has given me the confidence to start validating. All of the slides shown were very informative.
