Our one-day Briefing on Planning for Housing Associations helps participants to relate more effectively and productively to the planning system, in order to achieve their objectives quickly and completely.

This session is aimed at any members of staff, in particular senior staff, who need to have a good grasp of how the planning system operates.

Specific aspects to be covered include:

  • What is Town Planning?
  • The importance of Planning Policy
  • What is Development Management?
  • Planning agreements - the basics
  • Appeals - what are they and how can Housing Associations handle them effectively?
